Select action: encode to base64 or decode from base64
Base64 is a widely adopted standard for encoding binary data using a limited set of 64 ASCII characters. This coding alphabet comprises the text-numeric Latin characters A-Z, a-z, and 0-9, totaling 62 characters. Depending on the implementation system, two additional characters are also included in the coding alphabet. To encode the data, every three original bytes are transformed into four encoded characters, resulting in a ¹⁄₃ increment in the data size. This encoding method is commonly used in email attachments, image and video files, and other forms of digital data transfer. More about Base64 Algorithm
